I have always heard it pronounced "pee-tawn". The 3 emblems at the top stand for water, food and weather ie how cold you are. That will apply in the full version when you got to use the barometer to avoid storms. I think there is going to be a Yeti too. Poster in the gym talks about a mysterious figure on Kami.
