Just because he stated it doesn’t mean it’s law or fact. There’s many that stated otherwise and we’re not taking their story as law so why would we stamp this one? No disrespect. I believe he is accurate but wasn’t too fond of Compton’s history at that time. Also if you paid attention it seems like he took offense to the thought that Compton started a LA set especially because that theory has been going around for decades now. Also Fruit Town in Compton is an old neighborhood that was established before Piru itself took off. All Compton OG’s agree on that one. It was a hood full of hustlers.

@@o4tw382 he took offense because of the misinformation being passed around. Long before blacks were even allowed into Compton they were funneled onto the east side of south LA. Then they settled slowly onto the Westside. Fruit Town on the west side, as a hood - was established before the Piru set in Compton. Hustler cliques existed every where in South LA at the time; especially off the East. I’m sure in Compton too - but that’s a separate issue altogether.
