There is a variety of ideas on the left as well as the right, but if they overlap, why distinguish left and right? If "leftist" is derogatory, what should she say instead? Leftists should be proud to be considered leftists, and I'm sure they're perfectly happy to use the term "right-wing" which is, if anything is, derogatory.

When? Being honest about disparities is not racism. Nothing will get better if you don't talk about it. The left silences discussions of real problems, thus they never get solved. The left needs problems to perpetually exist so they can capture the large victim hood vote they cultivate.
