With that being said obviously with recent woke culture alot of girls similar to me are being told that they are born in the wrong body or that they are gay. Hearing all this didn’t make question anything it just made me a little bit insecure about being a tomboy bc ppl would just assume that I am a lesbian or trans person. I grew up with brothers so I'm a tomboy. Had heaps of my school guy friends hanging out at our house with their 50cc motorcycles back in the day. Wasn't interested in anything but their friendship and they respected that. Married my (now late ) husband at 24 (met when I was 19) and he was my first. I 'worshipped' him and despite me remaining a tomboy, I loved dressing up beautifully for him and spoiling him in ways he wanted. I can do basic mechanical work on a vehicle (taught by my dad), do basic plumbing, diy and work out in the garden. I was an active mom, taking my son on hikes ect after he's dad passed away. Now I am so happy to see my son found himself a very similar girl from a non western society. Pretty, nurturing, respectful but definitely a tomboy. I'm in my mid 50s and enjoy things like skateboarding and I meet guys at the skatepark of all ages and it's great to be in that privileged position to connect with guys of all ages (from pre teen boys) to guys back at skating after a divorce or just needing their own space. Thanks for mentioning the tomboy ladies: speaking for myself- I adore (most) men, I feel like I connect effortlessly with a lot of guys maybe because I truly care about (most) men's journey. Society really warps our perception of things through media. I would say that if you possess or value qualities within yourself like assertiveness, physical capability or confidence, you are immediately seen as masculine. But really, you can be a good mother whilst being assertive, physically capable and confident. You can be a better mother, in fact. And that’s what I think femininity is. Embracing the role of the mother. Opposite for masculinity. I know that my ideal girl is assertive enough to have her own opinions and not fold to everything I present ideologically. Andrew Tate argues that this is bad because a woman might argue that going for a walk through a dangerous place at night is simply what she wants to do and won’t heed your warnings, but this comes with intelligence. A physically capable woman, not on steroids, is able to assist me in my endeavours, and support me. There is nothing bad to come from that at all. And with confidence, as long as it is sensible confidence, it allows for opportunities in business. It’s a good thing I think.

I'd say I'm a tomboy. The majority of my cousins are men and I only have one twin brother who is basically my best friend. I also hung out with his firends a lot back when we where in the same class and I rember having a hard time finding GOOD female friends because all they ever wannted to do was get bf's. Their friends would go around the shcool yard and ask every guy who would wanna date their friend. The teachers kept trying to get me to hang out with the girls of my class but I didn't have anything in common with them and just wannted to play with my brother and his friends. I tried fitting in with the girl group, I even prettended to have a crush to be more like them. But then I jsut gave up trying. I did find a super good female friend in high school and omg she is an angel. She's not a tomboy but she's honest and dosn't pretend to be somthing she's not. So yeah tomboys are good and all but there are two types, only one of them is good. First type is the OG tomboy and the other typse is the one who just pretends to be "one of the boys" to manupulate, use and create drama. I saw one of those once. My brother told me about her and she was defenatly the bad type.

@@plack_benis382 those we call them pick me girls, they aren’t tomboys, they just want male validation. Growing up I didn’t fit in with the girls. But I never held it against them. They were young and with that comes being dumb and just trying to fit in. Boys were no different. Being a tomboy, for me helped me to depend on no one. I likes what boys liked but I never had to justify me being there with the boy group and then in high school I met my best friend (girl) and she accepted me for me. Pick Me’s, will put other women, girls down if they don’t fit into whatever guys think it’s cool. Creating their own toxic environment. Stay away from those.

I was called a tomboy before I got married. I grew up with 5 brothers and one sister. My dad taught be how to play soccer, I spent many days with my brothers in the woods building treehouses and playing cops and robbers or simply playing rough and wrestling with them. I used to only wear pants and no dressed, disliked the colour pink and was not much into girly stuff. I turned out fine. Got married at age 26, have children now and love to wear nice dresses and shoes, I do home-cooking and I am a 'traditional' housewife. It's a lot of work, bit I'm much appreciated by my husband and family. I could work at a big company, I have the degree and working experience and I might do that once the kids are older. Bit right now I'm content being a mother and housewife taking care of my family. I got lucky with my husband too. Not only do we get along really well, he also earns really well as a dentist and I am super lucky that his priorities are family and friends when he has leisure time. He ks a wonderful husband and a really good choice as a husband. He has his flaws, but so do I. Overall I think my experience as a tomboy helped me to understand the wants and needs of men in general. So we have very few arguments. But as a dentist my husband primarily works with women in his staff. So he is pretty good in understanding the wants and needs of women too... I'm so thankful that God gave me such a wonderful family with everything good and bad that led to a really beautiful life❤️🙏🏼

The main appealing attribute for a tomboy is that she is capable of not being drawn in by the current trend for girls or women. A tomboy by definition is a girl who likes to do boy things or at the very least not into girly things. In this day and age with feminism being such a strong influence it is good to be able to resist their destructive message.

Right on (tomboys) A girl in my eldest kids class was adopted out or fostered to a family at some small age but old enough to remember she isn't with her birth parents and seems to have a complex about not belonging EVEN in her biological sex category so she has gone for the male haircut, boys school uniform, changed first name to a gender neutral one and goes by "He/Him" BUT the biggest thing of note is, she has a group of 7 great female friends who hang out every day at school and a grand total of one boy who occasionally interacts with the group That's SO far below what we called TomBoy in the 60s through to early 2000s , the old bare minimum was to prefer the games boys played in the school yard and not be into joking around with the girls much.. she is not even close to this. It's really sad, she doesn't access the male bathroom cause she gets that this is an encroachment on boys privacy (bits out at the standing urinals etc) - we are trying to make sure the friends constantly reassure her that she is welcome as their friend and loved for who she is etc in the hopes she isn't further gripped by gender ideology, parents contribute to the problem by treating her as second class citizen vs their younger Biological kid (not adopted/fostered)
@viepng
@viepng Жыл бұрын
She literally did all of that without a major outside influence and you're pushing that she is "gripped by gender ideology". Nothing will harm her or anyone else by calling her something else or her wesring different clothes and cutting her hair. Also, she can use the nurse's bathroom if she's uncomfortable in the public bathrooms

I'm a tomboy with a super feminine identical twin sister. We were, and still are, constantly compared to eachother. My mother would always get stopped when we would be in our pram and old biddies would ask "whats the difference?" And she would always answer by pointing at me saying "oh shes our tomboy" and then point at my sister saying "and she's our girly girl". For a long time I honestly thought I was a boy (didn't have gender dysphoria or anything) because I felt like I wasn't like my mum and sister, I identified more with my dad and brother in behaviour, interests and abilities and felt very protective over my mum and sister. Little boys in primary school once approached me saying "so.. like.. your sister is really girly.. but like.. youre different.. so.. like.. what are you then?" And I innocently replied, "oh I'm a tomboy" (because I heard it so much from my mum) and we literally all accepted it and got on with our lives haha I feel very blessed that my parents didn't give me a complex for not being as girly as my sister because I didn't know I was different I just was me; liked to shoot guns, ride motorbikes and do bombs in the pool with the boys and my dad would tell me I would beat the boys at anything I did. My best friend of over 20 years is a guy and him and all the boys just see me as one of the boys lol but I still scrub up in a dress and heels and trip everyone out hahaha
