In kerala we call it kappa..it can be cooked just by cutting in to small pieces and boiling it adding some salt.. also can be cooked another way, i.e by ,cutting it into small pieces, boiling adding salt and once it is cooked ,then putting grated coconut, turmeric powder, small onion, green chillies, Curry leaves (grinding these in a mixture)and mixing it with the cooked Cassova. Either way, spicy fish curry is the best combination.

Hello Sros, my name is Justin Harper and I’m a business writer with the BBC based in Singapore. I’m writing a feature about the rise in people searching online for new recipes. I see on KZbin you have a lot of recipes, with bamboo shoots. These are the most popular types of recipe currently according to Google who I interviewed earlier. I had a few questions: How long have you been cooking? When did you start putting up videos? What has been the response? Have you seen a rise in people watching your videos since the virus shutdowns? Why do you like recipes with bamboo shoots? Do you also watch lots of cooking videos online? Thanks Justin
