You can put a tremolo but it won't be easy. In my opinion it's not worth the trouble to change hard tail bridge to tremolo bridge.

I have this exact guitar, I’ve been using it for about over 5 years and I’ve been thinking about upgrading some hardwares, one of the upgrade I intend to have is a Sustainiac Sustainer system, do you think this guitar can hold it?

Yes, you can put a Sustainiac sustainer in the guitar, but you will need to change the full wiring, as Sustainiac pickups require a PCB type circuit to run it. The routing is big enough to hold the PCB board. You might also need to route a hole for 9V battery if the circuit requires it.

@@sohitshresthaguitars seems like quite a lot of permanent damage to the body, I’ve been itching to have a system on my guitar since it’s so cool to have some infinite sustain shenanigans on stage and I think it’s cheaper than getting a new guitar with a built-in system, the cheapest one I can find is 5 times more expensive than getting a set of Sustainiac

@@duongallen4094 ya will have to do some permanent cosmetic changes to the guitar, alternative is to get a compressor/ sustain pedal. You can get a cheap one like the Behringer pedal and try it.

@@sohitshresthaguitars I have a Boss GT-1000 since I travel a lot (and by a lot I mean 2 times a year basis but it’s between Europe and South East Asia and probably between 2 cities where I’m at) and besides I tried Sustainer Pedals in the GT-1000, it just doesn’t feel as controlled and refined as manually using a sustainer pickup. I don’t think I will sell this guitar in a foreseeable future (although I might have to buy a new guitar completely since I have a feeling there’s something wrong with the truss rod, the string action still feels good enough for me so there’s no need of tuning for now) so it could be there for good

Hi, I have the same guitar and I want to replace my default nut with a locking nut. Is it possible? If yes how much it would cost?

You can replace it with a locking nut, but it will be of no use unless you put a Floyd Rose bridge. You will have to keep unlocking it to tune. You can get locking tuners instead.

@@sohitshresthaguitars I shall reach out to you bro I actually want the string action to be low enough for me to practice metal style but it was so high that even playing a chord becomes hard on it at the higher frets. I tried a bunch of stuff like lowering the bridge nuts or truss rod but it isn't working out. I want to know the proper order to adjust it bro

Fortunately, I didn't need to replace much except for the volume/tone potentiometer and wires. So it did not cost so much, but I put it about 3 hours of work into it. About 1k INR.

I have one of these. I really wanna replace the FAT10 bridge with a Hipshot fixed bridge. Does anyone knows of a bridge that would be a good replacement?

As per my understanding, the Hipshot bridge is a fixed bridge and the bridge on this particular guitar is a floating bridge. If you want to put a fixed bridge on this guitar you will need to fill all the routing done for the floating bridge.

Converting floating bridge to fixed is not easy. What you can do is find a hipshot fixed bridge that aligns with screws of the trem block and put hard wood pieces on either sides of the trem block to make it a fixed bridge.

@@khaldrago9918 I would personally buy the GRG131dx because I like hard tail bridge, but if you want one with tremolo this guitar is very good option. The quality is very good.
