@@hippydippy I agree mate but it's simple.Any good harp player on stage with legends doesn't want to overplay or jump in at the wrong time...Willis looked nervous & awkward till he got the nod to go for it...after waiting four minutes to get his one minute of play....so....he's ok. I wouldn't feel comfortable on this particular song either no matter who was in the band a more trad Chicago blues would be a better piece for harp to blend in. Bruce isn't the greatest harp player in the world but he's having a go, so good on him.

I heard Marcus for the first time tonight and have been on a binge. The very first thing I thought was that he needs to be rippin it on stage with Warren Haynes and a short scroll down and here I am. Man I love the duet vocals he does his his female backup singer in that Carolina song….what a beautiful song that was And that guitar sounded so rich.

A century ago there wasn't Rock n roll, Blues, Motown, hip hop, or really modern music in the early 1920s, other than Jazz. Marcus is one my new favorites but he's not above Marvin Gaye, Beatles, Elvis, Michael Jackson, Prince, B.B. King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Hendrix, Zeppelin, Queen, Gary Clark Jr, Stapleton and a laundry list of others. I'm excited to see how far Marcus goes though! Sky is the limit for this kid.

@@SimpleManGuitars1973 the first time i heard this song was at a dance in 1962. it became my favorite song. a few years ago i had a heart attack and wasn't doing well coming out of the anesthetic after the operation. my daughter made a playlist for me and i woke up to this song. to me there is a lot more than liking this song it is part of my life. sam cooke wrote this song and i have heard it done by at least a hundred different artists and like i said it's hard to screw up perfection.
