I was freshly 12 years old and in 7th grade when Suicide Season came out. I’d just hit puberty so it was perfect timing for my angsty self to discover BMTH. My best friend introduced me to them shortly after the album came out and I was mind blown. This band turned me into a scene kid😂 my most vivid memory, however, is seeing the “Chelsea Smile” video for the first time and thinking, “Is high school/early adulthood going to be like this? I can’t fuckin wait!!” ….only to remain a loser throughout the next few years and never be invited to the parties lol but also there weren’t any kids like this at my school. Im 26 now and NEVER got to experience a party like that. RIP.
