Jamil, Shaki may be quiet and tired after her period because of the loss of blood. She may need more iron to increase her energy. I know for women that is what happens for us.

The thumbs down are more than likely people who highly disagree with them being pets. Jamil treats them as if they were his own children so I see nothing wrong with him caring for them. No one knows how tough it would be to care for any macaque until their tasked with it. I'm not a fan of Macaques but grew to like short tail macaques and Java macaques thanks to KZbinrs like Jamil. To anyone who dislikes them, I highly recommend watching this man's journey with Shaki & JK, he sincerely loves them. I know there is 3rd younger one but I'm relatively new to his channel. Theresa Bullok is another person who cares for macaques and she has 3 Java macaques if I'm correct and she treats them like her own babies as well. These two are the KZbinrs I'd recommend to anyone who has a big dislike for Macaques. I still do not like the young ones cause of their erratic behavior & exaggerated tantrums in the wild but I really like these 6 macaques I follow across two channels. I know that Jamil's job is most definitely not easy as someone in the position of a father but he's done quite well as I've seen so far in his videos.

I am so glad Shaki is okay. I have been watching you for years. I am concerned about something. Shaki's bum seems to be the biggest it's ever been. It's bigger than Shaki herself.
