Seen a lot of videos on animating photos in both Photoshop and After Effects, yours is definitely the best! Explanation very clear; you mention the tools, what they are used for and other relevant information to them as well as the shortcuts. This is an example of how a KZbin tutorial should always be! 2:50 the "Quick Selection" tool would have made easy work of that.... Messing around with brush size and holding Alt to remove any accidentally added parts turns a 5-15 minute job into a 30 second job with almost unrecognizable differences!

Definitely would have made easy work with my example but not with everyones and its a good skill to know how to use the pen tool which is why I used it :)

Excellent tutorial! My only suggestions would be to slow down the smoke to be in time with the the motion, and to also reduce the opacity of the smoke a touch
