Wow Alex 😅! As a mechanic and car rebuilder for over 50 years, I can vouch for you that this was a lot of work and a huge success! The paint preparation is critical and you hit the mark 👍😃👏👏👏❤️!

Thank you Sandy, As a Canadian who lives on Vancouver Island British Columbia I too respect the sovereignty of Canada as well as that of the USA, Panama, Greenland/Finland, Mexico and all other countries on this planet. This LANCIA ZAGATO episode is in my all-time 50 best of's. What stands out for me is how stunning the design is... It's a futuristic line design for its time, absolutely smashing 👌. If you were to say it's a new ELON MUSK creation, everyone would believe it and praise it. You did fabulous attention to detail craftsmanship Alexander Archbold. A bonus mentions to the great RAYMOND the mechanic who's a living "The SIMPSONS" character. BRAVO 👏!!!

Even though you only moved into the new property not so long ago Alex, you need to start thinking about a new stacked, tripple height climate controled stable to run along the left fence line to house your growing heard of thoroughbreds, either that or leave them outside!! Or heaven forbid, sell them. Nice job on the restoration Alex, any plans on revitalising the running gear and underneath as well? You also might consider a rotisserie to restore under the vehicles as well? You should be very proud of the work done so far. Tony from Rural Western Australia 🇦🇺🦘

Congratulations, Alex. Yet another stunning resurrection of a forlorn rare car. For being "just a guy", you do amazing work that is an inspiration to a lot of us non-professionals. Very timely posting for me, as I'm in self-imposed isolation. I'm undergoing chemo on my face (basal cell carcinoma), and the initial shot of the top of the car had me saying -Hey! Alex, when you are stripping large items like cars, if you put a sheet of plastic, like winter window plastic kits, annd lay it over the stripper. This helps keep the chemicals at a stronger power longer. It can be messy, but it helps. Also when you strip outside, can you chase the shade? The sunshine drys stripper out very quickly too. It's been awhile since I've used it, but the environmentally safe strippers never performed and always took more stripper. Maybe they changed some, doesn't really look it to me though. Nice car, very nice car.

Looks great in red. Just one very minor point, at 7mins42sec on your vid we can see that the door locks have the slot at the bottom. Later on after you have refitted the handles they are at the top. Like I say a minor point but in a concourse show the judges might notice that the handles are on the wrong side.
