To fly with a keyboard, you should rebind the controls so Aircraft pitch forward/back is W&S, Aircraft roll left/right is A&D, Aircraft yaw left/right is Q&E, and Throttle up/down is Left Shift&Ctrl. This will let you fly with just your left hand. (I'd rebound the Toggle VTOL key to J as it's near the Toggle Gear's G key.)

And that they were never designed to, they're a rare moving element in the stunt course parts (the stop signs but upside down) and they are NOT set up for multiplayer netcode. Like everyone forgets they're client-side and if you're spectating, you're highly unlikely to see them in the same position as the person climbing on them.

I like how none of them have figured out mouse-flying. Can just hold down click and drag around to control pitch and yaw instead of numpad. Combine with A/D rolling.

I've got a fancy-ish keyboard that dosen't have a numpad - my desk is kinda small, and I wanted proper cliky keys, so getting one without a numpad meant the otehr keys could be fuill size, but still room for mouse and coffee cup.

To make it worse, this was a GAMING keyboard. It's why I stopped using Razor, nothing from them makes any sense. I was sick of the constant need for a keyboard and 5-button mouse to get updates for new games that I do not own. Hell why does it even need updates

Using a gamepad for driving/flying boggles my mind. I understand those flying joysticks for flying sims, but not like a Xbox 360 controller. Numpad flying has been in GTA since Vice City at least, and if you made it through that construction site RC helicopter mission, you know. And San Andreas had a mandatory flight school.

Analog sticks are useful for driving and flying, as you are able to do less-than-full presses in directions rather than tapping on/off like you do with most keyboards. Triggers being similar also helps in some games. In most other games' movement you generally want full speed whenever you press something so it's much less useful (imo)
