I'm so happy for you being able to bring the precious baby girl Athena home! One of the hardest things to do as a mom, imo is to give birth and walk out of the hospital without your baby even though you know it's to keep her safe it's still very hard, especially when hormones are up and down and you just want to love on your baby! Unfortunately, I had to do that myself several years ago, but my son never came home, so now I'll be with him someday in eternity! So, to see a wonderful happy ending with you bringing Athena home completely warms my heart! Congratulations to the entire family!

Oh.., Cambria, what a loving family. The boys get to hold Athena & then Freya is so sweet telling Athena she loves her! Also, the big guy Bailey was so happy to see you, Cambria & litte Mini was very excited. This is all new to her. It's just so sweet. I bet Mini will guard her for sure. They'll be about the same age. So they'll for sure grow up together! I'm so glad you're both home & doing well. Now just take it easy for a little while & rest & heal! A “normal” birth plan is nerve wracking enough but to have the babe early AND with complications is SUPER hard. None of us know how our birth plans are going to go do we? It’s always such a relief when baby is finally in your arms and both Mom and baby are released to go home and start their lives together. Bobby you are such a great example of what a partner should be at this time. Such a wonderful Dad and husband. I hope you know that. You should be so proud. I know we have never met and that we probably never will but I do consider you both extended family ❤. I am SOOOOOOOO happy for your family! You are HOME! ATHENA is HOME! What a precious miracle has occurred. Praise be to God for his intercession in her growth and health. My FULL TERM babies were 6 pounds 10 Oz and 6 Pounds 1 oz when they were born. We lived in Northern Italy at the time because my Husband was stationed there. ( They are now 31 and 29 years old, lol) If Athena had made it to full term she would probably have been 10-11 pounds! Just bask in the love of your family...cuddle that precious new baby...and KNOW that you have thousands of us praying for you and your family. God bless. ~Karla in MN
