Found MH4U in a black friday sale, havent played much online yet. i wasnt sure about buying it, until i found out about pretendo :P. I'm hoping itl (launched up the game for the first time 30 min ago lol.

I have it on my 3ds. whenever mario kart 7 or everything is 100% done, will i have to update pretendo to be able to continue playing online on mario kart 7?

Do you know if Nintendo will try to sue Pretendo after the server shutdown? If they do, I think everyone who has Nintendo Switch Online should cancel their subscription until Nintendo reverts their decision and lets it come back. I'm asking this because I'm thinking of putting a Wii U with Splatoon and some other games on the list for my birthday in April.

It’s possible. Even the 3DS emulator Citra I mentioned in this video got shut down alongside Yuzu. I really doubt they would go out of their way to try and do it, though.

No, it will be just like it currently is on the original Wii or DS. They will run the custom servers but you will not have to pay to access them.

I assume the project will remain open and free to use until the official servers shut down next year. I don't believe Nintendo will shut them down, so you'll hear more about it when the time comes. I might provide updates about it on this channel, but you will be informed when that happens.

Yes, that would be the goal. It might take a few years to test every game.
