The old head are like parodies of RUN DMC. Also, took me like 4 tries before figuring out how to win my first point battle but on the other hand, took me 5 seconds to figure out that you could kill the handcuff turrets.

Just some tips I think you should know You can attack the turrets and pop them up to spray paint them and deactivate them. And the best way to deal with cops is a Trick > Jump combo that pops them in the air for you to spray paint them

Some of the turrets you don’t want to spray after popping up too. There’s certain collectibles that are otherwise too high to reach that you need the popped up turret’s height to leap from.

The graffiti mechanic alone sold me on this game. In JSR it kills the pacing and leaves you vulnerable while in BRC it is snappy, stylish and as you said feels good to pull off.

Most people I heard also agree with you that a lock-on would help for combat in this game, but other than that it's a FANTASTIC spiritual successor to Jet Set Radio and it rules, well worth buying if you're into that vibe. Thanks for showing the game off!

Somebody already made a combat mod to this game makes it amazing. You can juggle enemies out of a high jump and use them to boost your score and trick combo, and your boost tricks become unblockable.

I guess Red is an AI inside the cyberhead keeping Faux’s body alive while you look for Faux’s severed head, which is hopefully in cryogenic suspension and not in a toilet or something.

The fac that this game is easily moddable with characters is amazing. Seen some mods for Gum and Beat among others. At the moment there are also stage mods in the works. We'll make our OWN damn JSR

After I figured out launchers I never bothered with hitting the cops. Just do one attack into a jump and it'll launch cops into the air, where you can tag them to knock them out.

As someone who's learning 3D modeling at the moment, the topology on these character models is absolute stank and it's clearly done on purpose. Tryce's braids are a set of rectangles rotated a bit and then slapped with a couple of loop cuts right through the middle. You could bevel those corners and make them look 200% smoother with only adding like 12 more quads but NOPE WE WANT OUR hard ANGLES YO. They didn't even try to normal edit to get those shadows to sit nicely on character's faces, they know their game looks good and they don't care how many triangle-based artifacts you can see.

Game plays amazingly well. I am somewhat disappointed by some of the art direction and soundtrack, though. Also, the lack of a DJ narrator hurts a bit, which I think was originally supposed to be in the game?
