There's so much corruption in the cemetery management business. One in northern California quit buying lawn fertilizer, never fixed anything unless they were forced to...... They have ruined a beautiful historical cemetery... The guy finally retired at least 25 years of doing nothing... His dad was on the governing board at one time.... We sh name the cemetery but discretion says not.... Thank you for sharing your videos and restoration. She needs to mention the Confederate monuments as well... They need to be honored.... @7:08 - there are Vet stones that were delivered, but yet to have been placed. This is something we have going on with 6 Vet stones at our local cemetery. Some are over 20+ years old. Hoping to get some traction going based off their obituaries. Awesome work by the community!! 🙌 🪦

We have a similar situation with an historically African American cemetery in Cincinnati. Right now, I’m the only volunteer, but we need to get a group of volunteers trained so we can repair and save the monuments and the history.

To be honest, are the people buried there from Africa? Or are they Americans with African heritage? You know, not all people with dark tans came from Africa. Either you are American or you are not. If you have dual citizenship then I guess you would put your preferred country first. Why put a label? If you were born in the United States, you are an American. Over that past 20 years I have witnessed a cultural divide that had not existed for a very long time. I am white, I am a first generation American. I feel blessed to have opportunities that are only here. I do not identify as a Latvian-American. I was born in America. I do not identify as a white American. I’m just a tax paying citizen of the only true free place on this plane. If the corruption and the divisiveness doesn’t end, our freedom will

I am from Glasgow, Ky. My 4th Great Grandfather, a Revolutionary War Hero, his wife, who is the 1st cousin of Daniel Boon are buried right outside Glasgow, and it is between 2 houses. It's in a horrible condition. Very difficult to get it in a repaired condition. So sad!
