Omg stop say that , if she have the money to buy a puppy it's okay. And , if you want a particular race, it is not in a refuge that you will find it. Then in the shelter, quite often most dogs have trauma, bad habits or fairly serious health problems and not everyone has the skills to deal with it. I have always had puppies, except twice because I personally do not have the skills to take care of a surviving dog :) Now I want a Pomeranian, why don't I go to a shelter? Because I want it puppy, and that it is a very very very very rare breed in refuge. In short, there is no harm in taking a dog from a breeder, as long as the breeder does not carry too much, that the parents are in good health and that the place is in good conditions. And that, when you are going to have a puppy, it is for life, despite all the problems it will happen with.
