Hey! I’m a nanny for 4 little boys boys and one of the kiddos has a horrible time passing poops as well. If you’re interested, trying castor oil on the belly!! Rub/push clockwise and it should help! Just an option!! You guys are doing great!! And both boys are so cute!

The two moments that made me laugh out loud, Ocean driving ( he is super adorable :) ), and your camera going out of focus at the end. When you both noticed it happening again and started saying, "oh no, no, no, nononono..." You both crack me up, that poor camera needs a little retirement party whenever you are able to get a new camera. Lol. It deserves one, after all the adventures and moments you have captured thus far. :) On another note, I am looking into buying a Brava as a Christmas gift this year for my folks. That thing is amazing! :D

Congratulations! You both are very loving and have a beautiful family. I have never commented before on anything online before so please, please take this with the love with which it was intended. I have prayed about it and have felt moved to share. (Please forgive if my words or delivery of what I say do not come out as I intend) I have watched numerous videos of your family and I would like to encourage you to have Ocean see a specialist for speech or developmental delays. When my son was younger, as I parent, I had not noticed certain things that others noticed could had indicated he needed just a little bit more help or provided a different approach then my other son when teaching him to speak and learn new things. He's speech was delayed, he failed to make eye contact for any real length of time, rather dismissive unless truly stimulated with something he wanted or excited him, or ignore or not really respond and the focus was more on objects. I am not a Dr., Nurse or someone with credentials. I am a parent who believes it takes a village to raise children (a good village) and just would like to share so that if and that is if there is a delay of any type then action can be taken earlier rather than later. He is a lovely boy and I would never question your parenting, love or the great intentions you have for your family. For me, I was just so grateful, for my situation, it made all the difference in the world that someone close to me spoke up with their concern and loved me enough to share even if it may have been hard for them. With humbleness and love I post this note.

My son has chronic constipation because of a medical condition called 22q11.2 Deletion Syndrome. Diluted pear juice works wonders. Also try coconut oil on a q tip and massage just barely in his bum. Do bicycle rotations on his legs, too! If it’s struggling to come out, you can also hold his legs toward his hips and help him squeeze. Fun times being a parent!

Have you guys thought about moving nap time up to about noon. And if he’s taking more than 2 naps cutting it down to 1. It may help with night time. We had that issue and our Peds said we were allowing him to sleep to much in the day. And that why he was waking up at night not wanting to go back to bed. He was 2 at the time. But he’s 5 now and still takes a hour nap. Or else cranky butt for the rest of the day
