Oh Adina, you are indeed blessed by living in Fort Pitt! If I was 55 or 60 years younger I would apply to become a member of your community. Every time I watch or rewatch one of your video my heart is filled with love and admiration for this way of life. I don’t know if your see comments on these old videos but I feel safe saying that your followers wish you were back. 😇 💗

I absolutely love it that y’all are not “safety first” fanatics! Instead, you live a smart, common sense lifestyle - no masks, no helmets, no knee pads, just teaching, from the very young, intelligence in living.

Once again, I am not first. People at Fort Pitt get more done before noon than I get done in a month. (Stefon voice): Canada's hottest colony has Everything- Motorcycles, Farm equipment, Trucks, Mops, Goats, Sheep, dirty children, clean babies, puppies, that thing where one truck pours stuff into another truck, An actual rainbow, large horses and small horses, children on bicycles and a coffee machine.

Can't get over the size of the farm equipment- just massive. My husband worked for a farmer for a few years and they had some of the bigger machines in this part of PA but they would've been dwarfed by those gigantic machines. Guess the fields are way flatter and bigger too.

What a wonderful depiction of spring. And your videos keep getting better and better. Good work. I had one question. Do you really plant your garlic in the spring.. We find here in southern Ontario it works best to plant it in the fall for early July harvest. But perhaps the different climate makes spring a better fit for you. Anyway I really enjoyed the whole video. What a wonderful world we have been given.
@miriamtschetter88973 жыл бұрын
We are doing a trial run on the garlic .if you will look closely you will see garlic that was planted in the fall 3 rows .now we planted another 3 rows to see how it will turn out .we have a tough time with planted garlic in the fall .this is the first year that it actually came up.

I have a geniune question about the way the women in your community dress. Would love your input on it & I'm sure other viewers would to. Do you feel like the way you dress is the style you like? Do you feel like it allows you to express yourself? (I say that without vain intentions knowing our desires should be for the Lord..) Do you feel like it's more tradition vs personal style? And if a woman were to dress differently but still in dress code, would they be allowed to do that? I just see how the men dress like normal men I see on the street every day (I live in rural East Texas) but it seems all of the women in your community follow an extremely similar way of dressing. I don't mean anything rude by this question. I am just curious :) May God bless you! Love your channel
@anniewalter28573 жыл бұрын
Some women dress with 2 piece dresses and some wear sundresses. We can express ourselves by color or style of dress. But the point of them is modesty.
@ladydough3 жыл бұрын
@@anniewalter2857 I have come from a very lenient background and had to learn how to dress modestly from women online, including you, and I've just noticed with certain "sects" of Christianity it seems like majority of the women tend to dress very similar. Like how old order Mennonites tend to wear bonnets & the same design of modest dress..and other groups do the same like the Amish. Its just interesting to see and learn how other cultures work & view fashion coming from how I was raised where you basically could chose any way you wanted to dress. Its been kind of a stumbling block with my modesty journey since it almost feels foreign to have a more strict dress code for myself so I am always curious about how others approach modesty. Anyways, I hope I didnt offend with my question. I follow a lot of Christian women on KZbin from all different denominations & I find it all fascinating. I didn't know what a Hutterite was until I found your channel around two or so days ago. May God bless you and thank you for showing the world your life & being open to questions. It really helps bring down the divide of culture
