Chaos knights are my favorite they give you a large canvas to make every model unique. I don’t play nurgle but my tyrant uses a lot of bits from the plague burst crawler. I extended the barrels of flamethrower, put an extra joint in the knees and took two shields off of the plague burst crawler cut them in half and glue them together at the bottom to make large spikey shoulder pads. Their very fun.

Getting a knight is a good idea, not the cheapest idea, but still good haha. I think anyone who has a space marine army whether loyalist or traitor should have at least one in their army. I plan on running a Knight Acheron someday in my Salamander army. Gonna feel so much like a gunpla kit than an actual GW model kit haha. I cant wait to see what you do with this guy though. Gonna be a be project and a lot of paint for sure haha. Also Iv been hearing rumors that both knights and chaos knights will be getting some new goodies and that the Knight Tyrant may finally be getting its own dedicated kit for Chaos

It's so cool that a lot of armies can ally them in. That's a really good point you make, I might have to check out some Gunpla vids for inspo haha. I hope the new models aren't coming out too soon from now. I'll be so sad if a cooler version releases right after I finish this!

@Rokkis_Gaming_Lounge yeah it wouldn't hurt to check out some gunpla builds and painted kits. Something that large will handle a lot different than our standard mini's and even tanks. I don't think there's any clue to when either knight factions will be getting their codex. I'm just now hearing rumors, and usually, that means it's easily months away if not a whole year, so potentially 2025 at the earliest

Knights are always fun to play with. When i got my Rampager ive brought him to every game since. After seeing your Land raider i cant wait to see what you do with this. Maybe something along the lines of Overwatch "Overgrown Bastion"? Anyways, great vid as always 🫡

Those big knights always look so cool once they're painted up and looming over their allies. Looking forward to seeing what you do with yours! Just remember to always try and have a CP in the bank before you go to fire that harpoon. Nothing worse than rolling a 1 on that gun! 🎲

Looking forward to see how you paint it up, I have one in the pile for my T Sons army set to be my next big project and its fun to see the creativity of how people make Chaos Knights their own with schemes/basing/conversions. What magnets did you use for the weapon/hips?

A Thousands Sons themed knight would look awesome! I used 6mm magnets for weapons and top half of the body. There's a small gap in the hip joint that fit a 4mm magnet in it, so I used that for the bottom half :)

Congrats on getting a Knight Rokki! Can't wait to see the finished result, Have you also seen the latest Flashgitz video "The WORST Elden Ring Player Of All Time"? They had a knockoff Great Unclean One and it was having a Cherry blossom tree growing out of it. Maybe this could be used for your new Knight? Great video as always, Godbless!

don't think you can hide that from the missus 😂.... would you consider the brimstone lance instead, just for range and hits alone..

As long as I can hide the receipts haha. I'll try out both eventually and see which option better fits the army. I've actually gone up against the Brimstone Lance in the past and was able to shrug off a lot of the damage with invuls. My unit of Plague Marines were then able to take the Tyrant down on their own because all of it's weapons were blast so it couldn't shoot into combat.

I thought max for bringing Allie’s is 500 pts? The tyrant unfortunately rounds in at 510 points

There's different ally rules for each faction. For Deamons you can only bring up to 25% of your max points. Knights you can bring either 1 big one or up to 3 little ones. No point limit for knight allies :)

So what you're really saying is that in a few months, your meta will all be playing imperial knights and chaos knights? 😂 Would love to know what tools you use to do your conversions of cutting and magnetizing.

Either that or a lot of anti-vehicle lists haha. I use a little Citadel saw that is really good for cutting through plastic. Also a hobby knife and power drill when required. The drill is great because I can make the holes the exact size they need to be for the magnets. Only other thing I can think of really is green stuff 🤔
