Hello! In this video, we say our goodbyes to friends in Almerimar and have an overnight sail to Estepona, further West along the coast of Spain. We pull into port there and set up camp for a few days where we make some progress on some big boat upgrades we've been wanting to do for a while, bringing Navika into the 21st century. We do an epoxy pour countertop for our galley (we use Epodex epoxy which was great by the way), fix our bilge pump, measure up for new water tanks and install some cockpit speakers. We visit the beautiful old town of Estepona, which has such an Andalusian and Spanish vibe and we happen to be there at a unsettling time when the forest fires of the Sierra Bermeja took place.
Any more questions on our epoxy pour countertops let us know in the comments!

I continue my binge watching! Thanks so much!!! The previous owner of my T37 spent a fortune on a new custom 100 gallon stainless water tank and a pair of 45 gallon diesel tanks. I smiled when I saw those.

I suggest putting polyurethane over the epoxy. Epoxy is relatively soft and will scratch.

I'm getting excited as you get closer and closer to your crossing. Nice to see the little yellow post it's moving left to right. It is so stunning to watch wild fires. We have more than our share in the western United States now. I live in Oregon and we have have several years in a row now with massive loss of forests and even towns. It is a fickle beast. Nose to the grindstone gang, let's get the hell out of Spain:-))

Always a pleasure to watch your videos and see the beautiful places you visit, that I'll most likely never see in person, living way down under in NZ. Thanks for opening up a glimpse in to your adventures.

Wow that's some beautiful architecture! How are you liking the epoxy countertop? I'm thinking of doing that on my sailboat as well.

We're loving it so far - we bought a slightly dark white colour the first time so we bought a new bright white pigment and did a light second coat with that. Just need to be careful with turmeric which stains a bit (but also seems to disappear over time somehow!)
