Mrs. Bates looks so good for having 19 children. I saw clips of the new show coming up and I am so glad that they have a format that is different to the Duggar's show. I think that is why the first Bates TV show did not do well. It was an imitation of the Duggar's Show. But the Bates are different, more real, in my opinion and I love their singing. I wish the best for the success of this new series.

This really is such a sweet family, I feel like they get that you don't have to be so strict with rules in the family or relationships or whatever, as long as you're still honouring your beliefs. I'm not a Christian, but their faith is really heartwarming. I admit I have a soft spot for the Duggars, but they just aren't as easy to relate to as the Bates'. God bless all of them

The DUggars started out relatable. They are all part o fBil Gothard's group so any positive gets cancelled no matter how much happiness they display. no one is happy all of the time..

@@roddma Right! They have kids with problems! They just hide them! Fire starters are one of them. Letting their boys do what they want and the girls have the woman chores and kids to raise. Kelly recently admitted to never changing diapers! Gil said he changed all the diapers. Guess the girls were changing all of the diapers when Gil wasn't there! Kelly said on the show that the new baby sleeps with the big girls so she can get a good nights sleep! So my question is What did Kelly do? Always looked like her daughters did everything!

I really love the Bates Family. They are so much better then the Duggars in my opinion. First of all, they put education much higher on the priority list and finding a career they enjoy. Plus they don't seem to treat the kids like possessions. The Bates seems very normal to me.

No they arent better just come with a prettier package plenty of Fundie go to college and then it's only 'allowable' career. they have a 1950s view on education and working for women-once hubby and kids come it;s over.Then each family allowed their kids to be around Gothard. That erases all positive iMO..

I love the Bates show. They are very real and the truly love the Lord. Yes they have a special sweetness about them and very easy to relate too. Lots of things have happened since this interview. Read the updates. Bless their hearts 18 kids. Mercy that is one of the things it takes.

I love laundry sooo much! My favourite! I would love to see that much laundry and take care of it all :-) but i dislike washing dishes, can't look at it or washing it but its something i must do... but laundryyyy ah makes me all happy just thinking about it :-)

2:27 did she just say she does “what’s leftover like the laundry. I usually do the laundry”. Sooo she puts clothes in the wash and it does it for her and then the machines wash and dry for her. Nice! Must be nice to just lye back and enjoy making kids while, as she put it so eloquently, “MORE KIDS MEANS MORE HANDS TO HELP”. I have 4 kids (planned on 3 ended up having fraternal twins on our last try for a girl- we got two fraternal girls💕) and I WISHHHHHHHHHH all I did was the leftovers. The laundry. These kids have me driving them to all kinds of activities and fairs and practices and scrimmages. My hubby cooks breakfast and dinner. I make all kids lunches. Annnnddd my kids clean their rooms haha AND THE GAME ROOM! They must keep their stuff clean and tidy. But still. Who wraps the gift. Who loads the dishes. Who puts away the dishes. Ugh maybe this chick is onto Something hahah. But who in her family irons. In my case, who drops off and picks up they dry cleaning. ❤️

We are supposed to put God first before anything else, so yes that does also mean before family. But that doesn't mean to neglect your family, because it is God's will that we take care of our family and not cause them to suffer. It just means to always remember your relationship with God, and then you take care of your family also.
