Eminem studied hip-hop, but what you brothers feel to realize there was a rapper named proof who actually was a ghost writer and his image portrayed so the credit needs to go to a brother name proof check it out if you don’t believe me, Jaguar Wright your show and she’ll clarify everything that I’m saying

Honestly what they said is fair and square, I'm an em fan but there's no hate here, the most important thing thry said "em is not the goat not because he's white" which is very respectable

@EBC-ENT I always saw those singles like My Name is, etc. more taken into the Bloodhound Gang or Weird Al type of community but only made popular by the public in order to become “pop rap.” But at that time, that type of content was the opposite of what pop rap typically meant. To me, pop rap was something heard in the club and I think the term gets incorrectly applied to Eminem because obviously he doesn’t make music designed to be played in clubs or to dance to in general. If pop rap is defined by extremely commercial singles, then every popular rapper has put out pop rap. If not, I think another term needs to be applied to what he does with the “funny” singles he was putting out for each album.

@EBC-ENTAbsolutely, he did the whole formula. Silly song for the radio, draw them into the album, rinse repeat. I was just referring to those radio hits being much different from your typical pop rap. But that’s probably due to white America eating it up.

Backhanded compliments. NAS, Biggie,K dot, 3k, Jay the list goes on…..They are all hip hop, however, cross over into ‘pop’ music also. Just cause Em makes hip hop that is successful in the mainstream, and is better at that than everyone, don’t try to discredit him for that. He is a hip hop artist that has massive pop appeal as-well. ❤ to Em and all the other 🐐

Eminem is a good rapper. He is not even close to goat status. Put a brothers voice to his lyrics and he’ll sound like a ton of rappers . He is a student of lyrics.

Eminem is not really like that,Yu gotta give him his flowers but JADAKISS will body him....Y'all give him to much credit,I never ever bought not near nudda of his albums & not to many black people bought his albums,not even the men on this podcast bought his music,so everybody need to chill wit the bullshid! He can rap but he's not that to me!
