He won a civil rights award in the 70’s or maybe it was early 80’s. There’s a photograph of him and Muhammed Ali, and Rosa Parks. The racist narrative isn’t new. Democrats have been using the same accusation for Republican candidates for decades, which is ironic since the Democratic Party enslaved black people, enacted Jim Crow laws, and only after they knew they couldn’t enforce segregation anymore…they created the welfare state in order to incentivize black people to vote for government handouts. It worked. Joe Biden attended the funeral of Robert Byrd in 2010, a KKK member who he called a “mentor.” This same Robert Byrd filibustered the civil rights act of 1964 for 14hrs until it finally passed because of Republican support. Only 18 (or 19) Democrats supported the 13th amendment abolishing slavery, but 100% of Republicans supported it. The 14th amendment giving equal rights under the law to black people got ZERO votes from Democrats. The 15th amendment, Black suffrage, which gave black people a right to vote got ZERO votes from Democrats and passed because of Republican support. Over the many decades, the Left has done a fantastic job concealing their own racist history with government handouts and pretending to care. The GOP in 1990 chose to vote for the Democrat candidate instead of David Duke (who ran on a Republican ticket) and the slogan famously was “Vote for the Crook: It’s Important”. The crook was the Democrat who had $100,000 of unaccounted for $$…very similar to the BLM organization who has $60million in missing donation receipts, and who scammed people nationwide by destroying businesses in urban cities (many black biz owners) and then no one seems to be able to name a single road, school, library, or piece of infraestructura that the $$ was used for. One of the craziest things about all this. Is that it took this long and to this degree of the country falling apart. For SOME black people to come around to trying something new. But the craziest thing? I'm not fully convinced that enough have learned anything. I think a lot of black people will still vote democrat. The oppression Olympics is too strong. It's hard boiled and baked in. They will vote the same way, complain about the same things, blame everyone else, and do it all over again. I mean really think about it.
