Maybe because it did and still does even to this day, some of the features in this game were completely unique. The charcater customisation was a amazing touch and the whole look and feel of everything just made this a good game. But dare i say, because it isnt battlefield or cod we get based haters who like to ride Activision and EA and say that any other shooting game is trash without even putting some time and effort into the game. A lot of amazing games get a lot of underserved hate and this game is one of them, such an underrated title and definitely not far off a masterpiece if they had of gone further with it like make a follow up game this would of made it but due to the lack of new content the fan base of this game simply got bored and said their goodbyes. Honestly though if it wasnt for the lack of new content then this game would of had a completely different overall rating and opinion.

@@yesg651 This isnt true at all. I remember the day this game came out with such vivid detail because of the disappointment it was. The servers were unstable, the game had 3 similar modes across two maps. With one of those modes being a barely functional story line, and another mode being a pvp version of that. It was as if 90% of the game was just the developement of the movement mechanics and customization. With actual gameplay and player retention a complete after thought. It could have been a giant. revolutionizing pvp shooters. But it was just a glimpse at what could have been, and ultimately doomed to fail. This has nothing to do with bias, or boredom. The game just wasnt good. It could have been one of the greatest shooters ever, but on release it was just barely mediocre due to how barebones it was.

parkour and battle royal is incompateball as you cant parkour whit heavy gear and millitary outfits you woud need to drop all of that and be just in jogpants + a tshirt to be abel to parkour mayby a light backpack. but more then this and it would be unrealistic to parkour

Honestly wish we'd get another shot at this. The setting is really unique and interesting and everyone was sold on the parkour in a multiplayer game Bethesda should hire a more competent team for a reimagining/remake like maybe Machine Games or id.

Brink undeniably deserves a sequel, with today's engines and tech. Bethesda definitely slept on this one, the customizations through gaining XP. Almost not a drop of microtransactions, it was criminally underrated and for those that complained about the skill gaps. It was definitely not as bad as it seemed, even enjoyable Solo.

Bethesda has a history of sleeping on titles. Remember anthem? another game with tons of potential that bethesda just couldnt get right and abandoned. all the promises in the world, and they couldnt deliver. its a shame because this could have been so much more. It was just missing something. The trailers made the game look fantastic, but the campaign just didnt do it justice i think.

There's something hilariously stupid about the fact someone took the time to write a message on the 40 mm grenade at around the 0:47 mark. They'd have to take the grenade apart to write the message on it since most of it would be covered by the casing and nobody would ever see the message because it'd either be covered up by the casing or flying so fast that nobody would exactly have time to read it before it hit something and exploded.

I distinctly remember going to the midnight release for this game, being extremely disappointed, and then trying to return it to Gamestop the next day only to be told that I was stuck with it or I could take $10 of credit. Good times!

Still The best multi player shooter that i've ever played. From the movement to the weapons of, from the costumes To the adhock swapping Of classes on the fly so you could always be ready in a moment's notice. This game had so much potential behind it. So much lore so much amazing art. But bethesda did what bethesda always does. They ruined it. They shot it in the back of the head before they even had a chance to let it succeed. What really kicks me and gets me p***** off is that this Story is so amazing and something that genuinely humanity as we know it in our Real world are already trying to pull off. Google the sea Homestead Project. It is literally the baby form of the concept of the ark from brink. We're already heading down this path the only question is do you want to side with commander Makoena, chairman Chen, Or say no to both of them and secretly joined the knights of Lady ishmael.
