The rhythm which starts at 0:20 is the best part for me, not only does it stay with you as a memorable theme, but the melancholic tune to it really provokes ideas of doubt, wether or not your doing the right thing fighting the resistance, I like that subtlety.

This is hands down one of my favorite scores I’ve heard in a game. I remember being so excited when it first came out. Brink was a beautiful concept piece. Everything was great, from the story, to the environment design, and especially the music and ambience. It lingers still, which is why I come back to listen to it every now and again. Sadly, the game just didn’t pull through and it burned out.

@ The Resistance while understanding in their desire to escape is ignorant of the atrocities that exist outside the Ark and by escaping they leave the door open for literal savages in the game’s lore to invade the Ark and kill the innocent civilians caught in between it all. If your entire existence was at threat of being pillaged and destroyed, you’d probably react similarly to how the Security forces did. There are no villains in the story of Brink, both are justified in their actions but only one protects the many rather than the few.
