I loved this video, guys!! Never hesitate to show your vulnerability because you appear “human” to us 3.5s. What I learned the most was how skilled you both are with your footwork. Some of your ineffective shots came from faulty footwork, but not many of them. Thanks for a great video!

Enjoyed the video. Both of you are showing that working on new shots in your game will be frustrating and takes a lot of time to be able to consistently hit the shot. I am working on making my dunks and drops unattainable by my opponent having to either take my dinks or drops off the bounce or hitting the ball up on there volleys.

Caden is funny. Great attitudes out there boys. What bothers me is being able to hit individual shots so well in a drilling session, but then when you put it together in a game, it all comes down crashing. lol. Keep up the good work.

Dig it! Good video guys! I’m working on my topspin serve, topspin speed-ups & roll volleys. My speed-ups are both forehand & backhand. I started in mid January so thanks to y’all & others, I’m seeing fast progress, but I’m working on several things at once cause I’m behind the curve & the folks I play with are good. Went to my first tournament April 20 & realized I need that topspin speed-up that I saw the better players winning with. Thanks for sharing guys!

I liked this a lot. I was also inspired to see that my own drilling session last night matched this very closely (we practiced and then played dinking games without and then with speedups, 7-11s for transition practice, as well as skinny and then fat singles).

When I'm drilling I don't like doing me vs partner scoring. I like where one player has an objective. So of it was backhand roll dink, every good shot is +1, ever high or miss is -1. So you just count as you hit. As you get more consistent is +1, -2. The other player isn't trying to win at all, just keep it in so the other guy can rep. I find when its me vs you scoring the skill we're practicing can get lost bc both sides are trying to win.

When the ball is served in our skinny singles games, we have each player's side of the court be determined by their score. If a player has an even score (regardless of whether they're serving or receiving), they play on their right side of the court. If a player has an odd score (once again, regardless of whether they're serving or receiving), they play on their left side of the court. The downside of this is the server has to hit their serve straight ahead when both players have an even score or both players have an odd score, and that doesn't really duplicate game conditions. The benefit, though, is both players get 4 different kinds of play typically found in games where the players don't stack: - Playing diagonally from the right side of the court; - Playing straight back and forth on the left side of the court; - Playing diagonally from the left side of the court; - Playing straight back and forth on the right side of the court. I'm 70 years old and got a 4.011 DUPR doubles rating last summer. About a month ago, I got lucky and found a really good practice partner who has a DUPR rating of 3.762. We've been doing hour-long practice sessions about 3 times a week, spending the first 45 minutes of each session doing drills and games similar to the ones shown in this video, and finishing with 15 minutes of this style of skinny singles. We've both seen dramatic improvements in our games, and the month of drills and skinny singles has me playing rec games on pretty much an even basis with 4.5 to 4.7 rated players in my area. Other folks' mileage may vary, but the information and drills from Jordan and Caden certainly works for me and my practice partner.

Awesome video! Our trash talking isn't quite so polite!😳 😂 For reference , how long was your 2 handed journey and your background and did Caden throw left-handed in baseball (which would give him a leg-up on the rest of us). Guess what I'm asking is around how long would it take someone to develop the 2 hander(Never a "twoie") if they had no previous left hand skills. I'm just starting to use it on transition zone resets as you showed in a previous video.

Caden - stop short-hopping that 2-hander. Move your body so you can roll that twoie when the ball hits the apex. You are also hitting a lot of those twoies off the back foot or while leaning back causing pop-ups. Move to the correct position, left hand in charge, wait for the apex, weight on right foot. roll that bad boy! Really enjoy watching you play in AZ!
