hangkai motor, the transom is a sealed marine grade plywood with a pvc / vinyl exterior, the keel on mine came attached in 3 spots , maybe its an update ?

Mike, Rick Thanks guys. I've been waiting for this video and yes you answered all my questions. I was looking at getting the 15'4", but was not sure if this would be a good choice, then I seen that you use your 12'5" a lot on your channel, and in some rough waters. I really like what you said about stability, able to stand on the side with out it turning over. The 15'4" that I wanted to get is now sold, but, I just found a 14'1". Question if you had to choose with no extra cost to you, what size of BRIS would you buy. Great channel guys and again thanks for this video.

We would pick the larger boat, however, the thicker bottom material is more important than the size. I hope that helps. Let us know if you have any other questions. Rick

Does it get really hot in the sun because of the black color?

You know, I have sat on the sides of the raft several times but mostly we use the metal benches. It probably does get hot, but I have not noticed it so much that it bothered either Mike or I. Let me know if you have any other questions. Rick
