BRIS Catamaran - Unboxing & Setup

Today we will be unboxing and setting up the BRIS 11FT inflatable catamaran the we bought from Amazon for $1,000. After we get it all set up, we'll be throwing on a Hangkai 6.0 HP (NOT INCLUDED) and seeing how she goes in the water.

That thing looks very stable crossing those wakes, as well as quick even tho its just a 6hp. Cant wait to see the performance vid with all the different engines. The sunset sky segments are magnificent.

Love the videos! Want to get to the water, want to see best SIB for the money video, I like the idea of the skid material on the bris, but would like your thoughts. I like it. I was forced to buy a Takacat due to where I live but the price is no good. These are well priced and look very nice. Wish I had this option. The shipping here can be outrageous

Thanks for the great video! What's the biggest outboard you would put on this BRIS 11' inflatable catamaran? It's rated for 9.9hp, but I'm thinking the Hangkai 12 would be at least 20% more fun!

We haven't had the time to test the 12 on it yet, but we plan on testing it soon!

was the 6hp motor fast enough with the boat or can i add a bigger one? because i heard it wont plane with anything lower then 7hp do you think a 9hp would be ok?

Nice! I just was looking on 12" Saturn Mini Cat.. What was the max speed with 6hp on Bris Cat? How does it compares to Tobin Sport? Which one is better on your opinion Tobin or Bris Cat?

Yes, it has two drain plugs on the transom.

I feel like the same person sells the Hangkai motors because no matter where you buy them, they're always about the same price (sometimes they lower the price but increase the shipping cost) and they all always go out of stock at the same time. They're cheapest direct from China off aliexpress, but it'll probably take about a month to arrive.

I think I like the Costco dinghy more than this one. I didn't hear how much this one cost? And you reduce the property value by having that old Taxi Cab Lincoln trying to steal the show you're better off bringing back the red Obama car
