Brisa Davila - Me Despertó La Realidad - 2nd Place (University) - 29th Annual Mariachi Extravaganza

Brisa Davila is a student at Texas A&M International University in Laredo, TX. She placed 2nd in the National Vocal Competition high school category of the 29th Annual Mariachi Extravaganza with her interpretation of “Me Despertó La Realidad”. Brisa is accompanied by Mariachi Aztlán from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
The Mariachi Extravaganza is one of the largest and most important mariachi music festivals in the world. Over 1,000 mariachi musicians, educators, and aficionados gather in San Antonio, TX every year to be a part of competitions, workshops, and events hosted by the Extravaganza.
