Hey mate! It all comes down to there being two main codes of Rugby. Rugby Union and Rugby League. Union has rucking and league does not. The main differences is what happens at the end of a tackle. In union a ruck will form and the ball is passed out the back with no stoppage. But in league which is what you are watching here. When a player is tackled the ref calls held, the defending players have to get off the player and retreat ten metres (except for the two markers) and the attacking player plays the ball under the foot. For a total of 6 tackles before you have to kick the ball or hand over to the opposition. Hopefully that clears it up a little bit.
