It's a great team song. It's also fitting that the Brothers were the last team to win the BRL premiership in 1987 before the Brisbane Broncos came the following year in 1988. Of course the BRL continued for a few more years afterwards.

Not sure. I'm assuming it's original as I've never heard it anywhere else but I may be wrong

The tune is definitely Irish - pretty sure not original.

I believe that it is the tune to an Irish shanty (a working song dating back to the days when ships had the big heavy sails)
