Brisbane City's modern commercial architecture..a brief look !

This ones a bit different....back in July 2020 , I was in the city , getting some footage to practice my colour grading on. Being a Sub tropical city, Brisbane has beautiful colour and crystal clear skies in the cooler months , so I was out on a glorious Sunday morning to see what I could find.
The day was perfect and the sky colour was beyond blue , so I got some excellent clips to work on back in the edit suite!
Long story short...the clips were too good to waste , so I put this together with a brief history of Brisbane's skyline.

Interesting video, it’s amazing how tall those skyscrapers are, and how the exteriors look. Here in Nebraska we have an ample supply of grain elevators, unfortunately they are that good looking compared to the skyscrapers in Brisbane. Great video, happy new year from frozen Nebraska. Cheers

Thanks Terry! The winter sun is perfect to show off the glass buildings . We take them for granted , but Brissy does have some very ell designed high rise. The US grain Elevator is a icon too , plus it has trains with it usually!! Stay warm mate. Gregg.

It's more affordable than Melbourne or Sydney Joe. They are building our first "subway" now , but nothing like the Tube or NYC subway. Gregg.

@FishplateFilms Hey there my friend. Being born and raised in a certain setting usually imprints itself on us doesn't it. I have always been more of an open space bush kind. Living in Caboolture and having to Work in Brisbane was only because of the uncertainty of staying in Emerald after privatisation. But now I'm back there I realise it is the right place to be. Hot humid or otherwise. I'm sure you'll enjoy your tree change when you get settled down in Mt Lofty. Recently returned from a trip to WA. There is some lovely scenery, but it has got the same feeling as home. Take care and talk to you soon. Cheers. Adrian.
