Cracking film.I go to this ground for the pharmacy built in the new stand. Still retains a lot of an old football feel at this stadium. Up the O’s!

A classic British film. It’s like an prequel to The Sweeney . A great watch.

Stanley Baker is great in just about every appearance he made.

This is my favourite film of all time absolute classic.... The jaguar car chase is just awsome its up there with the Bullet car chase with Steve Mcqueen driving the beautiful V8 Ford Mustang 2 iconic movie car chases....... And robbery was filmed entirely on... location giving us an amazing snapshot of 1967 London.... Awsome film 👍👍👍

Thats hiow Peter Yates got the job directing Bullitt Steve Mcqueen watched the car chase on Robbery and recommended Yates for Bullitt

The reason that the car chase in "Bullitt" is up there with the car chase in "Robbery" is that they were both choreographed by the same geezer....

There is also a shot of Fulham football club taken from Putney embankment leader's garden, about 10 minutes before this scene.

He was so much like Sean Connery

Funny you should say that. As Baker starred alongside Connery in the 1957 film Hell Drivers.

Yes, from the end of WWII to 1967/68 they wore blue www.historicalkits.co.uk/Leyton_Orient/Leyton_Orient.htm

@@chrislayton1130 The Swindon kit is a shown on this site for season 1966/67. The link for season 1966/67 shows Leyton Orient as blue shirts, white shorts and blue socks with white tops but in this early 1967 film it clearly shows that the Os players were wearing blue shirts, blue shorts and white socks, so different colour shorts and socks to the ones that are listed on that link for the 1966/67 season.

Leyton Orient wore blue and white between 1946 and 1967. That match was Leyton Orient v Swindon Town. 01.04 .67. The match ended 0-0. The gate was 7,300. It would be good if anyone knows what the crowd is chanting in the background.
