Brisbane Storm 27 Nov 2014

I managed to grab the DSLR off the front seat without getting headbutted by hail, I don't know how the glass didn't smash. Thanks to the kind lady who let me in the bakery! Apologies for the sketchy recording. As the storm intensified, water came into the bakery and all over me, the staff member pulled me behind the counter and I rested the camera on the bench. Water still came in and I covered it and kept wiping the lens. Hectic times!

Astonishing how much the visibility was impaired during this storm. Anyone trying to drive would have had no vision whatsoever through the windshield - unless of course it was entirely broken out by hail...

I took photos of the story bridge. Got in my car. Checked the radar and said "nope". I planned on putting my car in the underneath car park but it was full. I lost no windows. Just popped my indicators. My bodywork was ruined. Massive damage :(

we had a storm that dumped so much hail it looked like snow. we were stood in the conservatory watch & our neighbours cat turned up at the backdoor meowing to get in. it obviously freaked her out as she settled in doors for nearly 4 hours before she went home. we phoned our neighbours just let them know their cat was safe.
