This is an excellent design. Stability across chop and other wakes is actually the biggest card up its sleeve. This can cross any style of wash at genuinely any speed and it just isn’t phased. They are pricey but they truly are the real evolution in aluminium hull designs. Most will never go back to the blade hull after experiencing an Apex hull as it is in this example. Mainly because it has a massive blade section in addition to significant twin chines. This is how the extra room is achieved in the bow and basically everywhere in the boat. The freestyler 550 is the sweet spot in builds as the plates are thicker on bottom and sides with many more welds which makes a boat that feels much more like the YellowFin range rather than the other family boats. If looking between a equal sized Cruiseabout or this, the freestyler has about 20% more of literally everything positive. Ol’ mate knows what he’s saying.
