Do all doubles have a private bath or are there some doubles that share a bath with another double? Also, did you have IU put your wardrobes on the shelves or did you do that yourselves? Last, the pics we see show the beds bunked so can you confirm they can be separated (not captain style?) Thank you so much!! We’d really like to have everything we need to avoid the move in day crush at Target! Thank you!!

In Briscoe there are some doubles that share a bath with another double, but if they do then they will also have a shared “living room” space between the two rooms. Those are super nice! My roommate and me placed the wardrobe on the shelves ourselves to give more floor space to the room. Before you move in, IU will send an email asking your bed preference and we requested that ours be bunked but you can choose not to bunk :)

Hi Emma! Thanks for the awesome video, so helpful. If you were an incoming freshman, would you choose this building again? Are there other buildings that have better campus placement? Also, assuming Fall of 2021 will be back to normal’ish’, do you know if Briscoe offers singles so you can have a room to yourself? Thank you!

Hi! Yes I loved Briscoe and would live there again. To be honest, even though you fill out a room preference form I don’t think IU takes into consideration which location you want at all. I did not get my top preference and do not know anyone who did. If you want one that is a little nicer, like Briscoe, and have the funds to do so then I would request “enhanced living” on the form. Also I do not think Briscoe offers singles but I could be wrong! :) Hope this helps.

I got Briscoe Single as my housing. Does this mean I won't have a roommate at all? I am slightly confused

You may have a single with a personal bathroom & no roommate. Or you may have a single connected to a shared bathroom so you would share a bathroom with a roommate!
