This is the shower i have. Out of the blue today no hot water. Thermal cut out?
@bootsowenАй бұрын
Maybe. Have you checked?
@Sparks6078Ай бұрын
@bootsowen taken it apart and clicked what I think is the reset. Clicked when pushed any how. But still no hot water. Think I might just bite the bullet and replace the shower.

Bit feeble. Have you checked that there is power to the device from the shower rcd?
@Sparks6078Ай бұрын
@bootsowen it's on its own Rcbo. 230v coming in. It's the 9.5kw version which is very slightly different to the 1 you had. Front dails are via the circuit board. But layout is very similar otherwise.

It’s over to you as to how far you go. If the trip had popped out and you pushed it back did you check for continuity with a multimeter? If it was me I would go through it while it is open with a meter and see where the power is going. But I have been called various things and none of them safe! If it has a board does any of it look cooked?

I have the same model. Water is coming under shower near prd. Any advice how to repair please? Should I change the prd? Normally as far as I know there should be a ball inside for regulling water. But I haven't seen any balls in the new prd, so I'm not sure if it will help in my situation.

is the water coming out all the time or just when the shower is on? Is the hose blocked, or does it come out the hose as well?
@dmitriidmitrievici6236 Жыл бұрын
@@bootsowen Just when shower is on. 2)The hose isn't blocked. Water come out from the hose just a bit, much less then from under shower dashboard.

So is it leaking from the prd or somewhere else?
@dmitriidmitrievici6236 Жыл бұрын
@@bootsowen before it was from the dashboard, after that I opened and realized it is from prd, then I removed prd and realized it is comes from PRD Diaphragm.

hi I need to change the tco can I just remove the metal clip and screws and tilt the water tank forward to get to the screws on top of the tco? it doesn't look an hard job to do but I don't want any leaks by tilting the tank forward if it can.. thanks

I had a redring shower once upon a time. I made a video of it. It had a resettable thermal fuse above the element heater. It was possible to slacken the screws holding it in place with a needle nose pliers and pop the trip back in when cold. Make sure the power is off.

If anything it got better during lockdown! How is life with you? We aren't allowed to meet friends indoors! Winter in the UK! Everyday is the same! I just need Bill Murray to complete the scene. Maybe I should make the same video every day! Lockdown Laundry! 40 deg cottons everyday!
