Thanks for this series of videos about an engagement which is generally overlooked in Civil War history. I believe many people think that nothing happened between Gettysburg and the Battle of the Wilderness, and of course that is not accurate. I'm anticipating a video or two about Mine Run in the next few weeks. Thanks for all that you do in preserving our history!

I live in the Bull Run area and have been to this battlefield a few times. Until today I didn't understand the event well. These videos have really allowed me to interpret it. Thank you so much!!! I live near here. it's a nice little park, preserves part of two battlefields and a winter encampment. Hopefully more land like this will be preserved in the face of growing urban sprawl

I just don't understand how any professional army can attack any fortified position knowing the enemy is entrenched which will mean mass casualties especially against a military force on the brink of collapse.
