Good stuff mate , where did you park for the walk down ?
@fishandchippies77812 жыл бұрын
Hi Steve. You can either Park at Stolford or at Shurton both are a good walk. If you go to Stolford car park you can turn left at the end of the car park and drive right up to the power station.From there you can walk round to the reefs. If you park at Shurton you will have to maps it, there is a hill you walk up then down the other side and the reef is to yr right. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching and tight lines 🎣👍

Another nice video mate. Well presented, lovely footage and very informative.👍 If I may offer a little tip. When using rotten bottoms, if you spin the lead before you clip it up, it twists the weak line, so it doesn't leave a big loop that can get caught up on your baithook when you cast. Just what someone, I think it was Sandman's Tackle, showed me years ago. Just a thought.🤔 Enjoying your videos, thanks for taking the time to share. Appreciate it. 👏👍. Stay safe😷

Hi, just saw the knot you did for the top chinu hook, it is called the knotless knot and it is nothing new and I have been using for all my pulley rigs. I think the gap between the hooks is too close, you will struggle for big bait. The top hook cannot move around so you need to give the gap between the hooks a bit more gap, maybe around 1.5-2 inches. That will give you more flexibility for big bait like whole squid. You can always wrap the top hook few turn to get it near to the lower hook if you want to narrow the gap after you put the big bait on. Have fun.

Hi mate Thanks for the comment. I know it's nothing new but I have only just discovered it, what a great way to present a pennel rig though. the reason for the second Hook so close was because I was fishing Crab bait and when I saw this on KZbin that is how it was made. But I do agree that a bigger bait would require more spacing between the hooks. Thanks again for watching all the best 🎣👍

Hi mate. Where are you parking when you fish this mark?? Thanks and great video!!! Cheers Jim
@fishandchippies7781 Жыл бұрын
Hi Jim thanks for watching. There are 2 places you can park but both involve about 30 min walk. if you put in TA5 1QD this will bring you through a farm and down to a gate at the end of a tracked road. You can park on the verge and have to walk up the hill and down the other side. The other place is if you head to Stolford beach car park. Drive through and you will see a tracked rd that takes you all the way to Hinkley power station. Drive as far as you can and park at the end. It says no access, but you can walk around the sea wall to the mark. Hope that helps mate and tight lines 👍🎣
