Thank you for filming our layout Broadwell at the show and for giving us such a long presentation. I was one of the operators while you were filming and despite a couple of stock hiccups and a "Signal Passed at Danger" the layout was behaving itself quite well 🙂 Nice one.

Are the colour light signals prototypical - not seen a double green aspect before - is this a GWR syatem, thanks

@@petes6814 Hi Pete, yes they are GWR prototypical (e.g. Padd-Southall c1932). The searchlights are a direct replacement for semaphore signals (as they would be viewed at night) so the upper signal is in effect the upper arm and the lower signal is the distant arm for the section ahead. The green/green semaphore operation is still in use today in places where the signals are close together such as Shrewsbury.
