This is what happens when you build cheap apartments using flammable liquid nails to hold it all together...oh and no sprinklers in the ceilings !!

So, it was built in 2008, it should have had a sprinkler system in it. Isn't a sprinkler system mandatory in ALL buildings??

NO, (NFPA 13R) that protects most of the up-to-four-story apartment and hotel buildings does not require fire sprinklers in the attic space.
