I found this song during the worst day of my life. I was suffering from constant anxiety, that day I had to drop my medication because it was not working and I genuinely thought that my life was over and I had nothing to live for. I listened to this song on the way to work and it helped get through each day, day by day, week by week. it’s been a little over two months since that time period but I’m in a much better place now. Although I can’t say I’m not suffering from my anxiety, I learned how to cope with it and feel so much stronger. If you’re reading this and you are in the similar place that I was in - it gets better. You’re stronger than you think, just hang in there

Id just like to say, I fell in love with someone who didn't have the same feelings for me. This song was something on her playlist, I heard it all the time. It became one of my favorite songs of all time. Then one day she told me she didn't feel the same way about me, now this song is charged with so many fucking emotions it hurts. So I stopped listening to it, take my surprise when I got an ad of this entire video 5 minutes ago. There is no moral to this story, it's just weird how life works, when I listened to it that time I found new meaning in it, but it also brought me pain. In the end it is what it is, thank you.

Briston, I heard this song randomly on my Spotify maybe a little over a year ago (Roughly a year and 2 months maybe). I just liked the song and I didnt think much of it, but I couldn't put it down for several weeks and it helped me out a lot with finding a moment here and there to take a breath and relax during a stressful moving situation at that time. Fast forward to a month ago; I drove my girl from L.A to Texas to live with me and its been fantastic and its the first time in my life that I'm with somebody who I truly feel I can love unconditionally and receive the same love back and I want to dedicate my life to her very seriously. This is all new to me. Well, something funny happened the other night that I never would have anticipated. Her and I were up to some recreational fun under the influence of a specific substance known for its ability to generate a very loving experience and she had my youtube music rolling on the tv in the living room while we were just sitting there talking about life and each other. Right at the peak of the night and the conversation I hear this song come on and I just stopped talking mid convo and looked at the tv. I told her how fucking good this song was and that I NEEDED to sing it. So right there in my living room at 3:30 AM on Dec 1st 2024 I gave her a private full performance of this song and she just sat there in a mesmerized state and listened to it all with these lovestruck eyes that I couldn't look away from. It was maybe one of the most intensely love filled moments of my life. One of those moments where someone who doesn't believe in god would begin to question, even if just for a brief moment. It made me question. I was exactly where I need to be and so was she and we were doing exactly what we were supposed to be doing. Up until that night and that private performance, I hadn't realized how directly everything in that song can be applied to her and I. I just wanted to thank you so much for being a part of that incredibly special moment.

I'm freakin' out on the interstate Rolling down the windows, baby, I can't hear a thing you say I'm walking back to my favorite place And I can feel them staring at me Baby, do you think I'm doing something wrong? And you got a lot on your mind And your heart, it looks just like mine There's no use in wasting your time, anymore I'm sorry I haven't been myself And something's got me down What it is, I cannot tell I won't be satisfied with anything I've earned Fear is just a part of love And one thing that I found Is love is what you deserve Driving home and call my father on the telephone I hope you know I missed you, man Let's put it all behind us if we can Never feeling like I'm all the way home (all the way home) Stones inside my raincoat pocket I gotta keep Oh won't you hold them for me? And you got a lot on your mind And your heart, it looks just like mine There's no use in wasting your time, anymore I'm sorry I haven't been myself And something's got me down What it is, I cannot tell I won't be satisfied with anything I've earned Fear is just a part of love And one thing that I found Is love is what you deserve I'm sorry I haven't been myself And something's got me down What it is, I cannot tell I won't be terrified with anything I've earned Fear is just a part of love And one thing that I found Is love is what you deserve

I was at a bar here in southern Brazil and then it started to rain, and I was alone sitting in the outdoor area of the bar. I had two beers on the table because on Thursdays they have a sale, buy one and take two. This song started playing and it felt like the soundtrack of my life and I had never even heard this song before. I remember me looking at the beers and thinking "I wish I had someone to share this beer with, not a friend, friends I got many, but someone I could call baby, love, heart (...) Anyway, I asked to google what song was playing. This song is a world treasure.

I truly want to thank you for this song, in mid 2022 i was put in residential treatment and it was the scariest moment of my life. This was the first song that i heard while in there, the moment i heard it something just clicked. I instantly downloaded it to my MP3 and listened to it any moment i could, something about the lyrics and beat just kept me going. I’ve been out for 1 year and three months, and i’m on the waiting list again going back in 4 weeks. A song hasn’t been able to make me cry in years, but listening to this instantly makes me cry, but i’m not sad. I just start crying, and i think it’s because i connected to the song so much. I’m glad i’ll be able to listen to it again while i’m in treatment, and i’m so happy you decided to start making music. You have an amazing talent.

I'm so late to the show but I now can't get enough of Briston. This was the first song I heard from him and it was only last night.

I love this song with my soul. I was going through a really heard time in my life and I was laying alone listing to a random playlist the first time I heard it, I fell in love with it instantly and it’s been my favorite song since. I show it to everyone. It’s a song I’ve listened to through a lot of ups and downs. I think it’s a beautiful piece that’s raw and emotional but paints such a vivid picture, not to mention the head banging instrumental breaks. 10/10 love your music. You’re absolutely going places.

Listened to this song on the train ride back home from the worst day of my life, a year ago. It genuinely kept me from going insane, thank you.

I wish I would've known about this song back in middle school. I could have showed it to my family and said this is how I feel "I won't be satisfied with anything I've earned" "I can feel them starting at me baby do you think I'm doing something wrong" "never feeling like I'm all the way home" Those lyrics hit close

I called my dad (he’s 57) today just to chat cause he moved away recently. He told me to listen to this song. He said he could feel the soul and it touched his heart the same way Kurt Cobain did the first time he heard him. He also said he wanted to comment saying all of that but he felt like it was pointless and he didn’t think anyone would care what he thought and he didn’t want to invite judgement of critics about the comparison. The song is pretty good. So is my dad. I just want him to know that I care what he thinks, and I miss him a ton. ❤️

The pre chorus made me fall in love with this song. The lyrics and melody at that moment is so perfect. Thank you for making this.
