Vicki Lawrence started on the Carol Burnett Show at the young age of 19 having just graduated from high school! Carol Burnett saw Vicki perform at a Miss FireCracker Contest and Carol thought Vicki could be on the show playing her kid sister because Vicki and Carol looked alike, which a sketch was developed.
