Brit Family BLOWN AWAY by BGC Manila! Amazing City Day Out

We had no idea Manila was so amazing, BGC blew us away on our amazing city day out. If you've ever wondered if this Philippines urban metropolis was good to visit with kids then check out this full day exploring with our 5 year old daughter Story Ember.
We went to the Mind Museum to see the Dinosaur bones, had lunch at WildFlour Cafe, Strolled through Burgos park, swum in a rooftop pool on a skyscraper and then went Bowling and played arcades at a shopping mall. Great day out.
Our names are Jmayel, Sacha & Story. We traveled to Siargao island with Jmayel's mum & Story's grandma just before the Global pandemic that sent the whole planet into quarantine. We got stranded for months and fell in love with island life, now we want to make that life more permanent.

My sister buy condominium there in BGC .she have a nice house in the province as if you are in a 5 star hotel. Her house here in America is also nice as if you are in a 5 star hotel. She is retired from America was able to save money work as a consultant $100,000 a year salary

Try to visit THE MANILA OCEAN PARK .. the main attraction of the ocean park is the oceanarium which houses 14,000 sea creatures from about 277 species all of which is indigenous in Southeast asia .. The ocean park also host the trails of antartica the first penguin park facility in the country..

You should visit the Ocean Park aquarium in Luneta/Rizal Park beside Manila Bay. Also go to the three branches of the National Museum. Watch the sunset from the Manila Bay seawall. Then spend another day at the newly renovated Manila Zoo. The Dessert Museum in Makati would also be a nice spot for Story.

If they're vegan beyond diet, they won't be able to visit Ocean Park or Manila Zoo because ethical vegans believe that animals shouldn't be in cages or aquariums. Usually capturing these animals for our amusement has deplorable suffering and death on the animals (documentaries like The Cove shows how dolphins are captured in Japan) and it is very traumatizing for them to be captured. I really hope the Philippines cultivate and develop sanctuaries instead of capitalizing on animals' forced captivity. Animals are sentient beings deserving of their freedom, and it's much better to observe them in their natural habitat anyway instead of artificial and caged conditions. Besides, there are published scientific studies that children don't really get to learn what they're supposed to be learning in a zoo. May all beings live happy and free. 🙂

Take Story to Manila Ocean Park as well as the Mall of Asia. The Ocean park is HUGE!!! You wont be disappointed. As for the Mall of Asia, take her to the skating rink as well as the planetarium over there. Also, watch IMAX movies! That would be fun! There's also the Star City. Take her there! :) Manila Zoo should be fine too!

If Story enjoyed The Mind Museum, try bringing her to the National Museum for Natural Sciences. She'll see a preserved skeleton of the largest crocodile captured in the Philippines among others like taxedermed birds and mammals. It's great you are having so much fun connecting with Sacha's Dad at BGC. I heard it's a very European style city , very modern and a lot of city life activities. I love the curiosity and wonderment reaction from Story. What a great facial reaction! Especially when she was playing bowling and the intensity and the animated reaction for missing the pin was a memory moment. I just wandering they did not have a bowling ball for children? which is usually smaller in diameter and actually help children to be able to carry the ball. But either or she had fun and the whole family had a quality experience and congrats Jay for having the highest score. I missed poppy though especially when an corky dog approaches you at the park. looking forward for more adventure! be safe
