I love the surprise race; of course, some may have their best record but during the competition, they do not often lead the race yet they have their last blast to capture the winning.

No underwater footage for this? I was hoping to see some of Lochte's new dolphin kicks.

***** If Yang did not swim the 800 m earlier that day, he would have beaten Guy. I mean, Guy only bested Yang by 0.6 seconds!

lets be honest here paul biederman is such a good swimmer with those underwater which are basicly worse than my mums + he has been by far the longest time around in that event
@verward
@verward 5 жыл бұрын
Lochte has been around for longer in the 200m freestyle. He just didn't swim it individually up till Beijing because it conflicted with the 100m backstroke, which he was still into back then.
@tallswede80
@tallswede80 5 жыл бұрын
@@verward Except Biedermann owns the world record in the 200. Lochte has never been under 1:44. Therefore, Lochte has not "been around" for longer than Biedermann.
@PabsTV.official
@PabsTV.official 5 жыл бұрын
@@tallswede80 What??Are you dumb? The meaning of someone was around longer means he was Swimming the event for longer which Lochte was doing. Just because Biedermann broke the WR doesn't mean he was Swimming it longer. And fyi Biedermann was never under 1:45 without the supersuit so...
@tallswede80
@tallswede80 5 жыл бұрын
@@PabsTV.official "Are you dumb?" Isn't that what your mother asked you? Biedermann was swimming the event longer. Also, all swimmers were allowed to use the supersuit. So Biedermann is the fastest on a level playing field.

@@tallswede80 Don't you mention my mother you degenerate. YOU type that in every Swimming discussion video. And Lochtes first medal in the 200m free was on Indianapolis in 2004 while Biedermann wasnt even on the list in the 200 untill 2007 when he Got silver in Debrecen. Sun Yang has to be the most painful swimmer to watch in the 200m. His start is horrible, but the thing that would be so easy to fix is his breathing pattern coming off the walls. He breathes EVERY stroke, long on one side, long on the other, once more on the first side and THEN he starts to actually go. You see it on the 3rd 50. He accelerates massively after that 3rd stroke. He could literally go a second faster just by jumping into a 2 stroke breathing pattern straight off the turn with that same acceleration he shows going from stroke 3 to 4

Does Chad le Close even have a coach? Like, who the fuck told him to go out in 24.3? In rio this was even more blatant. He went out in 23.9 or something like that. Seriously Chad get outta here if you're gonna swim like that.

He trains with one of the so called 'best coaches' in the world right now, but back then I don't know. Either way, he is used to do that. In his 200 butterfly he always goes 24 in the first 50.
