This is old mate. The day after the episode aired, McGuire and her partner Brenton Lee Kelly were arrested and charged with unlawful stalking with violence. At Ipswich Magistrates Court this week, McGuire pleaded guilty to the charge, and was sentenced to 18 months in jail. Kelly had already faced court for the same unlawful stalking charge on May 12. The offence put him in breach of a suspended 821-day sentence, which he was ordered to serve, with two more years added for the unlawful stalking. He also had a drug lab in his house. Agreed, the courts in Australia are too soft on the real criminals/repeat offenders, the laws even protect them, while the victims of their crimes are exposed, their face shown in the news, can do nothing except move somewhere else, go into hiding, or become a criminal themselves. while the petty offenses like parking fines, road tolls, not realizing you to have to vote, or not being able to vote in time get the book thrown at them.

Sometimes in Australia, Police do nothing. They have the power to, but choose not to. But often when A Current Affair gets involved, Police will act. They do not like being exposed for not doing their job. A Current Affair is good for getting results.

The entire family needs a mental health evaluation and some socialization - no improvement pronto, then gaol time for the main adult offender/s. Kids would have to go into some kind of care where they can get socialized and understand why and how to be a responsible member of society. I've seen some videos where landlords have been stuck with awful tenants who they couldn't get out. Then when they have left finally, they've found themselves with a property that is unrentable and with tens of thousands of dollars in repairs.
