When they show all the ingredients and the US looks like it has more, the UK actually has the same exact amount and the same exact additives. It's mandatory in the US to list ALL ingredients/additives. Its not mandatory in the UK, but they're the same.

The thing with Whataburger and In N Out is that they're regional. In n Out is west coast (and I think there are a couple in Texas), Whataburger is a Texas place. White Castle is mostly east coast with a few out west. Burger King gets to be fairly high here simply because it's nationwide. They also own Tim Hortons the Canada coffee chain. See if you can react to MatPat's Food Theory video where he compared the fries of several US chains (and they had to be nationwide chains) The reason for the Burger King taco must be to compete with the Jack In The Box chain (burger chain that is famous for their weird mystery tacos... they don't look like typical tacos).

I don't know about in the UK, but in the US Burger King has one of the BEST fast food breakfast sandwiches. If I'm going to grab breakfast on the run, I'm holding off for the 30-minute drive it takes to get to the nearest Burger King! :) My favorite is the Sausage, Egg & Cheese Croissan'wich. This, of course, is my personal opinion. And, actually, Burger King isn't that far down the list in the US. It is the third most popular burger food chain behind McD's and Wendy's. :)

I like Burger King, & do get cravings for BK on occassion. I sometimes get cravings for McDonald's, too. Not so much for any other burger chains - not since Wendy's & Hardee's changed their recipes. One thing you should understand, Kabir, is that not all food chains here are national. Whattaburger is primarily found in the southern states (we only got one here in Kansas City this last year), & In N Out in only found out west. But, Burger King, McDonald's, Wendy's, & I believe Hardee's are all national.

Yeah, halumi is not really a thing in the US...I'm sure if you looked hard enough you could find it, but it's definitely not a common thing here. Also, somebody screwed up when claiming that UK mayo is only 6 calories...a single egg yolk has something like 55 calories, a tablespoon of olive oil has around 120 calories, and mayo is literally just egg yolk mixed with oil, so...yeah, definitely not an accurate measurement there.

The US small fries containers that I experience are smaller than the ones in the video. The US BK's version of a Taco is disgusting. They take a corn tortilla with a meat-like filling and deep fry it and add some limp brownish lettuce. The taco shell is chewy rather than crisp. Funny that I ordered them more than once (because they reminded of Jack in the Box tacos from my high school years).

Like when I went to a Perkin’s in Pa and one in Northern Virginia. Had something to do with the syrup and the potatoes. It has been so long that I can’t recall specifically. Just remembered same restaurant, different location, maybe it was the syrup or potatoes. Could have been both. I’d try ordering those fries separately and maybe have a friend ordering the other size. Recording both. Then comparing. Make sure your weights and measurements scale has been properly and recently calibrated. If same results.Fry Gate Is On!

Something about their "flame broiling" technique just tastes so...manufactured. Everything else on the menu is middling at best. I haven't been to a BK in over 10 years. I wouldn't say Burger King is unpopular where I live. A lot of the fast-food places in the US, outside of the worldwide chains like McDonalds and Burger King, are very regional. One thing you'll find in some US chain locations is that if the staff doesn't want to deal with a certain item, even if it's supposed to be on the menu, those locations simply won't make it or have it. That could be the reason for the lack of chicken fry sizes. Haloumi would only really be known by people who are used to eating ethnic food in certain regions of the US. You won't find Greek/Cypriot, or any ethnic food really, outside of the US larger towns and major cities in most cases in a commercial form unless it's from a specialty food market/aisle. You're really only likely to find Tex-Mex in most places as a choice unless you live in a place with specific ethnic groups that settled there. For example, in Texas, you can find German and Mexican food as those two ethnic groups were large groups of settlers in past centuries. In Oklahoma, you can find excellent Italian food, although Americanized, in lots of places in the state. There's a similar kind of cheese to Haloumi called Caciocavallo, which you used to be able to get in the Italian areas of Oklahoma when I was a kid/teenager, but I don't know if you still can or not now. They're only really similar, though, when you get each one that has been made of, or mostly with, sheep's milk. Parents, at least in the US, order the apple slices for their kids.

McDonald’s really upped their game after that, and BK in the US has steadily been declining, now I prefer McDonald’s. I think it changes over the years. I was surprised to see BK when I visited Germany a few years ago. And surprised to hear now that BK is popular in the UK. Same with KFC. In the US, I rarely hear of anybody eating it, but know that internationally, it is still very popular.
