As a former Starbucks barista, I can tell you that every iced drink should be the exact amount promised, because they literally have measuring guides on the cup. As far as the hot drinks, because of lawsuits, the amount given is usually going to be about an ounce less than the cup's capacity.

6:00 No . . . Not the best. If you want harsh & bitter (sometimes I do) Truck stops sometimes have great coffee, Panera, Corner Bakery. And those aren't near as expensive as Starbucks. More mild which would suit most Americans, would be several chains, best deal would actually be McDonald's. They have decent coffee on a deep discount (sometimes free) to seniors. 7-11 (convenience store chain) is surprisingly good. I still like to have Starbucks when on a trip. But it isn't the best to me.

Yeah, don’t know why it’s been like 6 hours b4 their tests? I don’t understand that. I can probably get 10 minutes? It really is best to get and sit down right away. Paninis and wraps are ok. Biscuits, warmed up oatmeal raisin cookie (but not all Starbucks will do that). I now do Gevalia 2 step on our Kerrigan. Much cheaper than Starbucks, especially on a daily basis.

Your question about which is the best coffee chain is impossible to answer. Our country is so big nobody has had a coffee from every chain in america. Also not every state in the US have the same coffee chain. And lastly everyone gas different taste in coffee. You might think a specific coffee chain is absolutely disgusting while others might think that same coffee chain is a gift from the coffee gods. I have heard that as of late Starbucks quality has gone down. Having said that in the state of Washington SEATTLE'S BEST has been rated best even over starbucks.

In China the major difference between their Starbucks and the ones in the US, excluding featured drink choices which are often specific to the region, is what kinds of foods you can buy and the souvenirs available. They even can sell some jewelry. Drink sizes are exactly the same and the prices are comparable to what they are in the US. So a grande Americano in China is basically the same price as in the US, but in China the local price value is vastly higher. Starbucks is a high end coffee shop over there
