@@pamelaellis2291 Usually, yes. But for safety, the expensive rings need to be with a sober adult. Anymore, most of weddings are symbolic, so the kid gets to have his moment in spotlight (or not, depending on the kid), and we adults up front are safe because we have the real rings. FYI, I'm a wedding minister, so I've seen my share of issues. Which is why I'm adamant about an adult having the rings.

I bought a little box at Michael’s for one of my daughters. She was having an outdoor wedding and my grandson from another daughter was the ring bearer. It was really cute. Of course he was older so maybe on the littles don’t chance it.

To be fair to some of these women, I was in love with a man who violated my trust after we bought rings. Everything was a mess and thoughts of marriage were put on hold of course. I wasn’t wearing the engagement ring. He thought the way to fix things was to officially propose. I knew he was going to, and I told him not to, that at that point I did not want him to. He kept bringing up getting married & when we were out to eat one night he brought it up again. I told him in no uncertain terms that I did not want him to propose, but he ignored me, and after dinner, he proposed right there in the restaurant. It was mortifying and painful. I just wanted him to get up so we could leave. The way some of those women reacted makes me think there was a little more to the story.

You literally need to plan for things to go wrong, because something always will. Just expect it not to be perfect and it's easier to shrug those things off and just enjoy your wedding.

I do not know why people do not tie some fishing line onto rings when they are near water to propose. The line cannot be seen with the naked eye and it ensures the ring can be returned if dropped.

The only slight fail for my cousin’s wedding was the translator screwing up a line at the reception. She simply couldn’t translate the kids part from Chinese. Don’t ask the groom was Jewish ok and tradition still applies there with the kids thing. We had a laugh about it but they moved on quickly.

Maybe there wasn't a relationship like he thought there was in the smashed flowers and the kick video. Women don't seem to like to be spontaneously proposed to. They like to be ready with hair and makeup if so inclined. The pictures last forever.

I used to be all for private proposals, but after seeing some of these can we at least get a spotter for the one being asked? It'd be a shame to ask someone to marry you and they crack their skull. I loved the southern couple proposal. "Is that real?" "Yeah, it's real!" And honestly, don't propose in public unless you know the other person wants a public proposal and that they are going to say yes. It's putting unfair pressure on them to say yes while making them center of public attention, neither of which are okay unless they want that.

Some guys actually don't have a clue.I was really good friends with a schoolmate once and completely out of the blue unexpected, no hint that the guy even had those kind of feelings for me.We are friends since seventh grade. Suddenly, we're 19 and he pops the question on the porch? We never dated. I didn't even know I felt that way.I definitely did not feel that way. It was such a nightmare. Everyone gets nad when the girl says, "No." Sometimes it's because nobody ever told you a thing.

I don't know why some are doing proposals in malls. That stupid and embarrassing. Even proposals in front of just friends and family are to much. Just let the 2 partners do this stuff without people around them pushing her to say ," yes". No wonder some of the girls passed out. Sudden shock.

Do not propose in public. 99% of the time the girlfriend will leave. It's manipulative to her, stress and anxiety all at once. You need to talk about marriage privately to keep things calm. I would run if I was proposed to in public. The girl isn't saying "no". She may need time to think.

What the hell is a "Fail?" Is that even an English word? There is a verb "to fail," and the corresponding noun "failure." However, wtf is a fail? sounds like a phrase coined by someone for whom English is a foreign language. I gotta say, it really sounds stupid. The men proposing in these videos are WAY more concerned about getting "likes" on social media than the cost of the engagement ring...5k is an overestimate for these bozos, they can't even afford their car notes monthly or to move from their momma's house. The ladies settle for a Walmart ring, you're going to get a Dollar Store marriage. FACTS!
